50's Dip (Half Pint)
This cheese spread uses an ingredient that you just don’t see around anymore - dried beef. Which is why I started calling it 50's Dip. I remember having this at the Christmas party of a family friend when I was little girl. Dried Beef is a like a very thinly sliced salty version of beef jerky. Mixed with cream cheese, sour cream, fresh onions, green pepper, sharp cheddar, a touch of Tabasco, and a few other secret ingredients, it is so dang delicious spread on crackers or veggies. Like pretty much everything your grandma made, it’s not fancy, it’s just GOOD.
